About

As a devoted Arsenal fan, I've created a personal space www.tunarsenal.ro where I can be alone with my thoughts and share my opinions about the club. This sanctuary allows me to dive deep into my reflections on Arsenal, helping me to understand and see things more clearly. It's here that I dissect the team's performances, celebrate their victories, and analyze their challenges, all while connecting more deeply with the essence of what it means to be an Arsenal supporter.

I write because writing helps me analyze and understand things better. Arsenal got under my skin ever since I watched matches on a black-and-white Diamant 253 TV. I was fascinated by the stands at Highbury, Wenger’s elegance, Ray Parlour's raids, and there was no turning back.

I started writing about Arsenal over 15 years ago. The Gunners had just moved to the Emirates, and I would sit at the keyboard after every match to write on MySport about how Fabregas and his team played beautifully, but it just wasn’t meant to be... Fast-forward a few more years, and I contributed to developing the arsenalromania.ro website, where for several years, I produced dozens of materials worthy of a true sports editorial team. I had the surprise and joy of being invited by Tom Watt to be part of the documentary series he was making for BT Sport, Football Outposts: When They Were Giants. More years passed, and alongside a few wonderful people, we managed to publish a book about our beloved club. "About Us – Me and Arsenal" is the first and only book written by a community of supporters in Romania. In the last 6-7 years, I have given my best to write on Tackle.ro about English football culture and have been a co-author of Romania's only newsletter about football.
